1. Use at your own risk
NutriBakes and Beyond ("the App") provides cooking, baking, and nutrition tools powered by artificial intelligence. By using the App you agree that all information is provided for general guidance and is used at your own risk.
2. AI content disclaimer
The App uses AI models to generate ingredient swaps, recipes, nutritional estimates, meal plans, and other content. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always verify recipes, nutrition values, and food safety before serving food, especially to children, pregnant people, or anyone with allergies or medical conditions.
3. Nutritional information
Calorie counts, macronutrients, and other nutritional values are estimates only. Actual values vary by brand, preparation, portion size, and ingredient quality. The App is not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice. Consult a registered dietitian or physician for personalized nutrition guidance.
4. Allergen warnings
The App may suggest substitute ingredients that contain common allergens (nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, gluten, shellfish, etc.). You are solely responsible for reading every label, confirming each ingredient is safe for you and anyone you cook for, and double-checking AI suggestions against known allergies.
5. Food safety
The App does not replace standard food safety guidance. Cook foods to safe internal temperatures, follow proper storage and handling practices, and discard anything that smells, looks, or tastes off. Shelf life predictions are estimates only.
6. Liability waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NutriBakes and Beyond, its operators, and contributors are not liable for any damages, illness, allergic reactions, dietary outcomes, financial loss, or other harm resulting from use of the App or reliance on its output.
7. Intellectual property
App design, branding, and proprietary code belong to NutriBakes and Beyond. Recipes you input remain yours. AI-generated suggestions are provided for your personal use. Do not republish App output as your own commercial product without attribution.
8. Subscription & billing
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment provider. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds.
9. Pricing & taxes
Prices displayed are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes. NutriBakes and Beyond is currently a small supplier as defined under the Excise Tax Act and is not registered to collect GST/HST. This may change as the business grows.
10. Credits and AI usage
Each AI-powered tool consumes credits from your monthly allowance. Different tools cost different amounts based on the size of the AI request; the cost per tool is shown in Settings → Credit usage and may be adjusted over time as AI provider pricing or model behaviour changes. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Because the AI provider charges us per request, every completed request consumes credits even if the AI's response is not what you hoped for. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not refundable. You can view your usage and remaining balance at any time in Settings → Credit usage.
11. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
